Oh god I apologize for everything.

I have no idea what Sarah's apologizing for. Well, I do know, and the apology is twofold. First off, she seems to think there's something wrong with the art in this particular strip. I'm just the writer, but I see no problem with it. I seriously love Quin's expression in the last panel. Secondly, she's apologizing for the late update, and in that sentiment I join her. Life just gets in the way, sometimes, and I'm sure you all understand that. Now, if we were getting paid to do this comic, it would be a completely different story (and a totally awesome one, at that).

Speaking of being paid, I am going to be officially employed come next Monday. I don't expect that will impact the comic significantly, unless I get sidetracked by rolling around in the large pile of cash I'll be raking in every month.

...I won't, in case you're wondering. The salary's enough to get along on in terms of food and rent and can probably afford me the occasional video game, graphic novel, or DVD. Which is pretty much precisely what I need, and that's awesome.

I finished Neon Genesis Evangelion last night. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who gets easily frustrated by unresolved plotlines, unexplained incidents, bizarre philosophical wanderings, random Freudian psychology, or vagueness in general. My review of the series in short: Loved it while it was a combination mecha anime/character study. Was exhausted by it when it decided to be pure character study/psychoanalysis in the last two episodes. Probably won't rewatch it anytime soon.

I'm currently looking into acquiring G Gundam in order to cleanse my palate of the gory bleakness of NGE with insane over-the-top giant robot heroics. Hopefully it will do the trick.
