So, if this works anything like the way it ought to, this post will have a nice little header on it and everything. If it doesn't, there'll be some garbled text and miscellaneous weirdness that I'll attempt to reckon with very soon, if not sooner.
Obviously, there have been a few changes (artistic and textual) to the way the comic is put together, but Sarah will be around sometime soon to explain all of those. It's not really my place to comment on it. I write the words.
There haven't been many improvements to the site over the weekend. Many and diverse festivities and the pressing reality of dirty laundry have hindered my work on that end of things. There have also been many large meals interspersed throughout. A man's gotta eat, right? Anyway, since I can't really remark on the artistic evolution of the strip, I
would like to call your attention to a little addendum at the bottom of the page.
I would be the first to admit that I am an
open-source whore. Kompozer has done nothing to change this. In fact, it might have made it
worse. Long story short, Kompozer is the WYSIWYG HTML editor that I used to build this site, and I think that it has done splendidly for a piece of software I didn't have to spend any money on. So if you ever need to wrangle somt HTML and don't want to fork out the money for Dreamweaver or FrontPage, try out
Kompozer.
Also, while I'm recommending software, I'd also suggest
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. I've used it to remove two very nasty Trojan viruses masquerading as antivirus/antispyware applications from my friends' computers thus far, and it has the added bonus of having a free version.
Well, that's enough of that, then. /geekery
