SO MUCH TEXT.
That's what I get for being so damn wordy, I guess. My grandiloquence has a tendency to get the better of me, and for that I apologize. On the upside, I think that the last panel is my favorite we've done yet (that hasn't had naked ladies in). There's something about the expression on Quin's face and his body language as compared to Kent's that just...makes me giggle.
Not trying to be self-aggrandizing in any way. Just saying.
Anyway, I think that the
Inkscape method of lettering the comic that I spoke briefly about yesterday is going to become the norm. The fact that it let me navigate the above perfect storm of verbiage with relatively little effort pretty much clinched it. If it can do
that, I expect it can do anything else I need it to.
Of course, today's strip taught me one of those lessons any beginning comic writer must learn: too many words plus limited space equals one very cramped comic*. I shall endeavor to make my efforts more streamlined in the future.

* I initially wrote that as "one very cramped strip", but then I got the mental image of a bleach-blonde girl named Candy Floss trying to remove her clothing while stuck in a small cardboard box, so I changed it.
