My first attempt at subtlety in humor. I'm not sure how successful it is, but I suppose you can't get any better at something without practice. And the best practice is failing miserably until you get it right. Anyway: yay, violence!
It seems like I really ought to find something consistent to write about here in these news posts. Something to address specifically every time I write one. It's hard sifting through all the dozens of informations in the Internets when you've no idea what you're looking for. And it's even worse when it's all in your head and you don't know what to do with it.
What makes this even more fun? As of the writing of this post, I have no idea what the finished strip looks like. Traditionally, I will have it all lettered and done with by the time I write this, but for the sake of getting sleep this evening I'm doing this while I have daylight on my hands.
My bet? It'll look fucking rad.
So here I am, having babbled on for two considerably-sized paragraphs and two rather smallish ones--the midgets of the paragraph world, one could say--and I have yet to say a single damn thing worth reading. Awesome.
I do feel that I ought to mention that we'll be checking in on Brighton come Monday. For those of you who have been wondering what she's been up to for the past...how many strips has it been? Six, now, counting this one. Two whole weeks without everyone's favorite pink-haired lesbian.
...
How have we gotten away with that?

P.S. I was totally right about the comic. Shelly is just trying so hard to get the game back on track in that last panel. It's adorable. And whoo! Superfluous T&A!
